Insanely great place to stop off after a long tour or of course after a short one;) The landlord is a really nice guy, taken right into his heart. The beer tastes particularly good up there and the food ... Unique view from the tower. Castle ruins excavated and restored with great effort and love.

The very, very steep ascent, short but tough, is definitely worth it. Very good cheap snacks, very hospitable. The Obatzte is sensational. Very beautiful castle ruins with a good view. The dog also gets a water bowl.

Tasty castle taverns, interesting castle ruins. The tower was closed because of Corona.

A short trip to the castle ruin in December ... The view was really good the way from the parking lot to the castle is not too far away with children and prams. Unfortunately the castle tavern was closed. But also a nice change for adults.

It is and remains a matter of taste. I found the stay at the castle super nice even when it rained and the old knights sometimes had no nice weather.

Always a must when we are in the area. The castle tavern, the innkeeper and the old walls together create a very special atmosphere. The place exudes an insane peace and earth. If there are Viennese or whites from the hand-made clay pot and the one or other beer, the world is fine. And before there is coffee and a piece of home-baked cake, an extensive exploration of the old castle ruins with the children is a must.
